KPMD is an established software development company, based in Sheffield. We develop quality software within the timescales and budgets set by our clients. We have proved during the ten-year lifetime of the company, that we have the skills and experience to develop affordable, quality software systems to a wide variety of organisations including government departments, large corporate, national and international companies, and small to medium sized employers.

We specialise in developing systems in Visual Basic (all version including .Net), Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and integrating these with Microsoft Office and other products. Over the last few years we've developed our EQA Programme Management software to use the latest technologies of Microsoft Visual Basic .Net along with Microsoft Web Services, allowing the update of remote databases for office and web use.

Some of our other key projects over the last few years include:

• a world-wide stock control system for ELG Uttica Alloys for depots in the UK, USA, Germany, South Africa and Asia;
• an SQL Server helpdesk system for a number of clients including NHS Blood and Transplant, Northgate Information Solutions and Westfield Health;
• a patient records subject access request (SAR) system (Access To Health) for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Leeds Teaching Hospitals and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals;
• various customer sales order enquiry systems; and
• a web-based electronic quality management system (EQMS) for a local company called Qualsys ( www.eqms.co.uk).

As well as software development we also offer services in systems analysis and design, and project management. Extensive analysis & design experience and the formal Certificates of Proficiency in SSADM, enables KPMD to create custom software that allows your company to make the most out of the information it holds. You can also utilise our skills to develop requirements specifications that you can then put out to tender to other software development companies. Planning during the full life cycle of a project ensures the project is within cost, on time and of the highest possible quality. We offer Project Management skills that you can use to manage and quality assure work by other companies.
